| Where an air mattress failed, IntelliBED worked . . |
|
Around June 2008 I bought an IntelliBED mattress from you. I have been using it ever since and I thought you might like to know how I made out with it. Have just spent 10 days in the hospital again they offered me the latest mattress technology available there. Their mattress was an air compressor controlled one and utterly useless for me. As a paraplegic I must turn around every 2 hours and I could not do this on their air mattress on my own but I can do it on the IntelliBED mattress. Furthermore their mattress has no ventilation at all and did not allow proper heat dissipation, which is very important to people with fragile skin. All in all it was a bit of a nightmare. The best thing about your mattress is the soft flexible top layer with the firm base in the bottom of the mattress. It also seems to promote the healing of my wounds much better than the air mattress. Added to this is the fact that your mattress makes no crackling noise in the fabric when the compressor cuts in just when you intend to go to sleep!! I might add that the Alberta WCB reimburse me for this mattress after I convinced them there was nothing better for me. For me it was a win win situation all around. Sincerely, |
